As war continues to rage in Ukraine, initiatives are flourishing to support the Ukrainian people.

Caroline Andréoni, interior designer and Parisian, has launched a campaign on social networks to collect humanitarian equipment.

They will be sent to Kiev on Wednesday.

Very affected by the conflict in Ukraine, Caroline Andréoni decided to contribute on her own scale, to help the Ukrainians.

She launched a campaign on social networks to collect packages with hygiene products, survival equipment and even clothes.

The provisions will then leave on a bus to Kiev on Wednesday.

"We feel useful"

The provisions were all stored in a small living room in his architectural office.

The heaps of bags and boxes almost touch the ceiling.

“There are hygiene products, medicines, but also survival equipment, such as blankets, first aid kits, lamps, batteries and chargers…”, explains Caroline.

For her, this project is a way to make a difference in the daily lives of civilians in Ukraine.

"Some of them will take up arms and we want to help them be as well equipped as possible. We feel less helpless, we feel useful," she says.

The initiative started on social networks and aroused a real enthusiasm: donors paraded at his door, their arms full of bags.

Anna came with medicine and clothes.

"My best friends are Ukrainians, I was with them in Ukraine, barely two weeks ago. It's my way of fighting for them", she confides with emotion.

According to Caroline, this affluence is only the beginning.

She is still waiting for many parcels before the deadline.
