This comes on the sixth day of the war, in which the Russian bombing of various cities in Ukraine escalated.

On Tuesday, Russian forces bombed the center of Kharkiv, the second largest Ukrainian city, in an attack on the headquarters of the local administration, according to what the region's governor, Oleg Sengupov, announced, while the electricity was cut off in the city of Maripol.

"The central square of our city and the headquarters of the Kharkiv administration were under a criminal attack," Sengupov said in a video on Telegram.

"The Russian occupiers continue to use heavy weapons against the civilian population," he added, noting that the number of casualties was not yet known.

And he released video recordings showing a large explosion and debris inside the building.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian city of Maripol, on the Sea of ​​Azov, was without electricity after it was attacked by Russian forces, according to regional official Pavlo Kirilenko.

"Maripol and Volnovakha are ours!" he wrote on Facebook.

"The two cities are under pressure from the enemy, but they are holding out. In Maripol, the electricity lines were cut and the city was without power," he added.
