In a password-protected app on the man's mobile, the police found a film of the assault.
The police also found two other films of similar abuse of another woman, also an acquaintance of the man.
The man, who is in his 20s, is now being prosecuted at Gothenburg District Court for three cases of rape.
He is also charged with abusive photography because he has filmed the abuse and for child pornography crimes when about 20 pictures of child porn were found in his computer and telephone.
The man has been in custody since November.
Despite the videos on his mobile, he denies any wrongdoing.
