"The Russian and Belarusian national teams and/or national selections are not authorized to participate, with immediate effect, in any events on the UCI International Calendar" and the status of UCI team, which is essential to participate in the events, was withdrawn at six professional teams including Gazprom/RusVelo, according to the organisation's press release.
Russian or Belarusian runners who are employed by teams from other countries will, however, be able to continue to compete.
