Faced with this wave of suicides, the government recently decided to accelerate the deployment of the Sentinels, these police officers trained to spot their weakened colleagues.
They are 41 to have been trained in 2021. The objective is to have a pool of nearly 2,000 Sentinels by the end of 2022.
