Last weekend, when they were off duty, two plainclothes police officers were alerted by a clamor rising in the streets of Ceintrey, near Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle).

Intrigued, they approach the scene and see an individual suspected of an attempted burglary being chased by two men, reports France Bleu Sud Lorraine.

The two police officers managed to arrest and subdue the individual, who had in his possession a hunting knife and brass knuckles, as specified by the spokesperson for the national police 54. The suspect was then handed over to the gendarmes of Meurthe -et-Moselle.
