The Schools Preparedness Guide for the exams of the second semester of this year identified a set of tasks and procedures to be taken by school administrations, in addition to their role in ensuring the readiness of the school building, and the requirements to be adhered to during the exam period.

The Emirates Foundation for School Education directed, through the manual, the formation of a committee to manage exams in the school headed by the school director, to bear all administrative and technical responsibilities, which ensure the proper and orderly work of the school, in addition to forming a committee for observation and monitoring of the exam halls, and another for printing entry cards. Examinations, headed by the school director, and the committee bears full responsibility in the event of any leakage of any exam card.

It also directed the distribution of students to the halls in accordance with the precautionary measures in place, with the names of students being specified on the seats in the halls, and the preparation of attendance lists in each hall signed by the observer and the observer, and approved by the school principal and his representative, while working on distributing entry cards for the examination to students. In the halls, ensuring that the student delivers his correct card, in addition to limiting the citizen students who are outside the country to official excuses, such as treatment, facilities or an official mission, and identifying absent students with an acceptable excuse, and documenting their excuses, with the application of the behavioral regulation in the event that the student commits Examination violation, provided that measures are taken according to the degree of violation in the regulation, so that it will be deducted from the degree of conduct.

Regarding the readiness of the building, the guide singled out some of the procedures that school administrations must work with, to ensure the provision of the appropriate environment for students during the examination period, and to ensure the readiness of the building in terms of the availability of halls, seats, computer labs and the Internet, the readiness of the school clinic, and student waiting areas in a manner that ensures physical distancing, with Designing directional boards in the school yard and at the entrances, to guide students to the locations of the halls, and other boards with precautionary measures.

The specializations of the schools, according to the guide, included preparing and organizing the application of the end-of-semester exams for the subjects of Islamic education and social studies in grades 5-11, according to some controls, the most important of which is the application of the SWIFT system during the period from 7-11 March, provided that it does not conflict with the period of the central exams. The subject teacher is responsible for constructing the end-of-semester examination form, the compensatory exam, and the correction guide, according to the table of specifications, directives, and general controls.

The school director, or whoever he designates, supervises, monitors and delivers the teacher’s schedule of tests specifications, defines the task of each teacher, and follows up on granting new teachers powers over the examination system (Swift Access), benefiting from the experiences and training of fellow teachers, and the possibility of involving them in a common model.

The guide indicated that the teacher, who has examination impediments linked to the kinship relationship with the first and second degree student, prepares the exam form in the event that no alternative is available, while maintaining the privacy of the examination procedures.

She also stressed the need to verify students' data on the Al Manhal system, in terms of grades and tracks in which the student is registered, and to specify the elective subjects for year 12 students "chemistry and biology."

Determining the correct level of English language for general education students, classifying students in the category of people of determination and the type of individual study plan followed by the student, activating student accounts in the smart learning platform, and teachers’ accounts in the Al Manhal system, in the smart system and in the Swift system.

The guide called for monitoring and approving formative assessment scores. In addition, it called for informing students and their families of the approved exam dates, exam committee headquarters, and the curriculum, and informing them of the need to bring students from grade (5-12) their own computers, and informing them of the precautionary measures to be followed and the timings of buses.

• The code of conduct is applied in the event a student commits an exam violation, and measures are taken according to the degree of the violation.
