Maksym has lived in Sälen for seven years but his entire family still lives in Ukraine.
Now they have fled the war there and entered Poland.
Therefore, he has now rented a minibus and goes there himself to pick them up.
In total, close to ten people.
- It's grandma, grandpa, cousins with wives and children.
They have been forced to walk 27 kilometers to enter Poland, he says.
Offered accommodation
Several private individuals in the Sälen area have already promised to arrange housing.
One has offered space for up to 40 refugees.
Several in the area are in the same situation as Maksym.
Many from Ukraine work in the tourism industry in the Sälen mountains.
