In his appeal, the author noted that at present, in order to obtain the right to drive a vehicle, citizens are required to undergo appropriate training.

At the same time, according to him, for the training of drivers today, practically no knowledge is given on how to avoid emergency situations on the road.

At the same time, there are private schools of extreme and emergency driving in Russia, whose courses are very popular among Russians who want to get this additional knowledge they need to improve their own safety on the road.

“In this regard, I ask you to evaluate the feasibility of including an emergency driving course in the general training course for citizens applying for the right to drive a vehicle, including motor vehicles,” the text of the appeal says.

Earlier, Pavel Krupnik, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, proposed introducing a system of fines for violating traffic rules, the amount of which will depend on the size, equipment and cost of the car.
