At 07:28 the alarm came.
A neighbor had seen how the cow approached a stream and then fell through the ice.
- The cow had walked a little too far from the farm and brought more cows with her, says Conny Qvarfordt, internal commander of the Rescue Service in Skellefteå.
The rescue service was quickly on site as was the farmer.
- The cow was standing with water up to her neck and we had to send people down into the water to try to get the cow up.
We are working full time now but it may take a while.
The cow seems quite hurried, says Conny Qvarfordt.
