Actors Lee Jung-jae and Jeong Ho-yeon, who appeared in Netflix's Korean drama 'Squid Game', received the Best Actor and Actress Award from the American Actors Guild (SAG) on the 27th local time.

At the SAG Awards ceremony held at the Barker Hanger Event Hall in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, USA on the same day, Lee Jung-jae received the Best Actor Award, and Jeong Ho-yeon received the Best Actress Award, respectively.

This is the first time a Korean actor has won the SAG Best Actor Award for acting in a TV drama, and it is the first time that a non-English-speaking drama actor has won an acting award from the American Actors Guild.

Earlier, 'Squid Game' won the TV Drama Stunts Ensemble Award.

'Squid Game' is also nominated for the SAG Award for Ensemble Performance in the TV Drama category.
