Ukraine has been under Russian military invasion for four days.

A situation that worries many Ukrainians living in France.

In Paris, the faithful gathered Sunday morning at the Ukrainian cathedral of Saint-Volodymyr-le-Grand to pray for their loved ones and their compatriots.

Europe 1 went there.

REPORT

A lot of emotions, anger and fear on Sunday, during the masses celebrated at the Ukrainian cathedral Saint-Volodymyr-le-Grand, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

This is the case of Katerina.

Sitting on the steps of the church, this faithful of the parish has been coming every Sunday for ten years.

She has a very special thought for her daughter and her son, who remained in Ukraine, while the country has suffered a Russian military invasion since Thursday.

"For three days, it's exceptional. Every Ukrainian asked to pray for us, for our country, for our president and for our soldiers", she explains at the microphone of Europe 1.

Around the altar, on their knees with rosaries in their hands, many faithful pray several times a day for their friends and families.

The priest, rector of the cathedral, takes the time to listen to the parishioners.
