Two young people, aged 20 and 23, have been arrested this Sunday by the Ertzaintza for
their alleged involvement in a group sexual assault
perpetrated at dawn in the Biscayan town of Barakaldo, for which two other men are also being investigated.
Around half past six this Sunday, the Ertzaintza learned that a young woman had been the victim of a group sexual assault in Barakaldo.
Apparently, she was approached in the street by several individuals who forced her
into a doorway,
where they sexually assaulted her.
Later they have stolen his mobile phone and the bag he was carrying with various belongings.
After learning what happened, the Ertzaintza, in collaboration with the Barakaldo Local Police, has launched an investigation that has led to the arrest of a 20-year-old and a 23-year-old in the early afternoon for their alleged participation in the acts.
In addition, proceedings have been opened as investigated to two other men.
The investigation remains open.
