According to RIA Novosti, a meeting to conduct a procedural vote in order to appoint an emergency special session of the General Assembly in connection with the events in Ukraine will be held on February 27 at 23:00 Moscow time.

Russia previously exercised its right of veto over a draft resolution in which the UN Security Council called for an immediate halt to the special operation in the Donbass.
Vasily Nebenzya, Russian permanent representative to the organization, said that the resolution in the UN Security Council on Ukraine was anti-Russian and anti-Ukrainian.
