Hear Eva Cooper's call for local businesses in the video.

A possible ethical stance against Russia is on the agenda.

In Dagens industri, for example, Stefan Ottosson, CEO of a company that is a subcontractor to Volvo, says that they stopped all sales to the factory in Russia due to the war.

Similar discussions are also taking place in Gävleborg, says Eva Cooper.

- Companies discuss what they sell and how they sell it, says Eva Cooper.

Sandvik follows the sanctions

One of Sweden's large companies, with many employees in the county, is Sandvik.

The company has not made its own decision to stop selling to Russia.

- We have the greatest respect for the decisions that are made and of course follow the sanctions that have been introduced and decided, Sandvik's press manager Johannes Hellström writes in an email to SVT Nyheter Gävleborg.

The entrepreneurs' regional manager Eva Cooper thus advises Gävleborg's companies to take a stand.

But Can Entrepreneurs Really Advise On Moral Issues?

The answer is yes, according to Eva Cooper.

- Our vision is to leave us a better world.

Then it is quite obvious which side to stand on, in order for that vision to be achieved.

Plan for SEK 30 per liter for diesel

But the war does not only affect companies exporting to Russia.

All companies in Gävleborg can be affected.

Especially by rising electricity and fuel prices.

- Gävleborg's companies need to make calculations on how to afford sharp price increases.

If diesel goes up to SEK 30 per liter in a short time, how will it affect your business?

Is there any way to reorganize your business so that you get it together?

SEK 30 per liter - should you count on it?

- I would not be surprised if we end up there, says Eva Cooper.
