Good deal for the gendarmes of Morbihan.

After a year of investigations, drug trafficking has just been dismantled in Belle-Ile-en-Mer, they report.

A total of 17 suspects, eight dealers and nine consumers, have been identified.

All are soon summoned to justice, and in particular a Lorient man in his twenties.

According to the gendarmerie, this young man is suspected of having made several trips between the mainland and Belle-île, “in order to sell narcotic products to intermediaries on the island, who themselves had their own clientele”.

Several category D weapons, 260 grams of cannabis resin, 110 grams of herbal cannabis, 13 grams of cocaine and five plants of cannabis were discovered during the searches.

The investigators also got their hands on the sum of 8,470 euros.
