A Russian delegation arrives in Belarus to negotiate.. The Ukrainian president has reservations about the place

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday that a Russian delegation had arrived in Belarus for talks with the Ukrainians.

Peskov stated that the delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and other departments, including the presidential administration, and their arrival was confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

"We will be ready to start these negotiations in the city of Gomel," he added.

In a flash news a while ago, the Ukrainian president said that the territory of Belarus is not suitable as a platform for talks with Moscow, due to "hostile acts" issued by Minsk.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Azerbaijani Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had proposed sponsoring negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

"Ilham Aliyev and President Erdogan offered to organize negotiations with Russia. This initiative can only be welcomed," he said in a video message to the Ukrainians, which he posted on Telegram.
