Russia has deployed 150,000 troops to advance not only the capital Kiev but also major cities.

Even though the situation is fierce enough to cause a street fight near the presidential palace, Ukraine, which even joined the militia, is fiercely resisting.

Both sides have expressed their intention to negotiate a peace deal, but Russia is fighting, demanding that it be held in other places, including Belarus and Ukraine, Poland.
