People's Power Presidential Candidate Yoon Seok-yeol openly proposed to propose a time and place, saying that he would like to meet with Ahn in person in order to unify the opposition with Ahn Cheol-soo of the People's Party.
Earlier today (27th), Candidate Yoon, who canceled the campaign schedule in the Gyeongbuk region and foretold a press conference, announced this at the briefing room of the People's Strength Central Party at 1 pm.
Candidate Yoon said, "We have done our best to achieve unification with Candidate Ahn." He said, "I finally received the notification of the failure of the unification (from Candidate Ahn) at 9 am this morning."
Candidate Yoon said that the plenipotentiary agents had been negotiating from yesterday until early this morning, "If Candidate Ahn decides a time and place even now, I would like to turn the car around and visit him in person at any time, even while going to the provinces."
After the press conference, Candidate Yoon plans to resume the campaign schedule in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon for 2 days and 1 night from the Pohang campaign scheduled for 5 pm today.
