Earlier today (27th), Candidate Yoon, who canceled the campaign schedule in the Gyeongbuk region and foretold a press conference, announced this at the briefing room of the People's Strength Central Party at 1 pm.
Candidate Yoon first explained the background, saying, "We have done our best to achieve unification with Candidate Ahn."
Rep. Jang Je-won was on the side of Candidate Yoon, and Rep. Lee Tae-gyu was on the side of Candidate Ahn.
He said, "A final agreement was reached and a report was reported to Candidate Ahn and me, and the only thing remaining was to adjust the meeting schedule," he said.
Earlier yesterday, Candidate Ahn's side requested "Give me a justification for withdrawing from the race," and said that he also conveyed the position that "I will visit Candidate Ahn's home and show a respectful attitude."
Candidate Yoon said, "If Candidate Ahn decides a time and place even now, I would like to return the car and visit him in person at any time, even if I am on my way to the countryside."
After the press conference, Candidate Yoon plans to resume the campaign schedule in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon for 2 days and 1 night from the Pohang campaign scheduled for 5 pm today.
