The collection started already in the 90's when the twins were 9 years old.

Then they had separate albums but soon realized that it would be much easier to collect together.

Today, Andreas and Simon Gustafsson have more than 23,000 hockey cards and an estimated value of around half a million kronor.

When SVT Norrbotten visits, many of the noblest specimens adorn the walls in the apartment.

- The sun must not shine in through the window so that the cards fade.

That is why we have set up the cards where there is a shadow mode, says Simon Gustafsson.

Gretzsky's rookie card cost that much

Wayne Gretzky tops the NHL's scoring record of all time with his incredible 2,857 points, spread over 894 goals and 1,963 assists.

It is also his rookie card that is treasured in the vast collection.

- We gave SEK 39,000 for that card.

Only nerds put the sums on a hockey card, says Andreas and laughs.

Close to the favorite team's home matches

The passion for ice hockey can not be missed and the brothers have a favorite team - but they do not have to travel across the Atlantic to see them play.

- We have loved hockey for as long as we can remember, and Luleå Hockey has always been our team, says Andreas and Simon Gustafsson.

They have no plans to stop collecting and SVT Norrbotten is not alone in paying attention to the brothers' hobby.

This summer, Antikrundan visited Luleå, but they also took the opportunity to visit Gustafsson's in Piteå.

- It was big when six, seven people stepped into the apartment with large cameras, cords, lights and filmed.

They were here for probably five hours and it was very interesting to see how it works.

In the clip, the twins show several of the eye stones in the giant hockey collection.

In the Gustafsson brothers' hockey collection, there is a copy of the now thawed ice that Connor McDavid took his first NHL cuts.
