At the meeting, Wu Liangyou, deputy director of the National Health Commission's Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention, introduced that people all over the country are very concerned about the epidemic situation in Hong Kong. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the central government has fully supported the epidemic prevention and control work in Hong Kong. Construction, the National Health and Health Commission and the Hong Kong SAR Government held a video conference of experts in medical treatment of new coronary pneumonia, and conducted in-depth and detailed discussions on specific technical issues. Relevant departments of the SAR government and medical workers exchanged views, and the expert group from the mainland on aid to Hong Kong communicated smoothly with the Hong Kong side.
In addition, other COVID-19 prevention and control experts in the Mainland will conduct video-link exchanges with the Hong Kong aid expert group every day to make suggestions on Hong Kong's anti-epidemic work.
Wu Liangyou said that the current epidemic situation in Hong Kong is in a period of rapid spread and accelerated rise.
