There were many who applied to Stortorget to show their appreciation for the county's Olympic medalists in biathlon and slopstyle.
The medalists who were celebrated were the biathletes Elvira Öberg, Martin Ponsiluoma, Hanna Öberg, Mona Brorsson and Linn Persson and in slopestyle Jesper Tjäder.
Other Olympic medalists will be noticed at a later time when they are in place in Östersund again, announce the organizers Östersund municipality, region Jämtland Härjedalen and Destination Östersund.
