Fierce battles continue on various fronts as the Russian military operation against Ukraine enters its fourth day. Sirens sounded in the capital, Kiev, after it was exposed to a new wave of Russian bombing.

Politically, European foreign ministers are expected to discuss - today, Sunday - reaching a collective agreement to send financial and military support to Kiev, in addition to raising the level of economic sanctions against Russia to include closing European airspace to Russian aviation, and closing the Swift banking system to it.
