Asera Mining estimates the mining operations in Järkvissle and Västanå to be mined at two million tonnes over a ten-year period.

Which would mean an annual extraction of two hundred thousand tons and includes several different minerals.

- It's not just lithium in this case, but a number of products coming out.

In terms of volume, the largest are quartz and feldspar, but there is also tin, niobium and tantalum in the deposit that may be interesting.

Not nail straight

Ove Göting believes that there can be mining in the Liden area in 2025 at the earliest and the road there is not straight.

- It goes to environmental impact assessments and share with others and it is not taken lightly if you say so ... Plus that all conceivable agencies and neighbors will certainly appeal as far as possible, so time disappears as it were.

Objections belong

He sees it as a matter of course and that it "belongs" to the villagers in Liden will have objections to their establishment.

Something that he thinks is in line with the great opposition to mines in Sweden.

A resistance he in many ways finds no evidence.

Undeserved reputation

- All people prefer that we should buy raw materials from other countries in the world, where it is apparently considered better than that we break it ourselves here, says Ove Göting and adds:

- I'm not ashamed of what we do in the Swedish mining industry.

But I do it for what is done in most other countries.
