An airline pilot accused of radicalization by Air France finally won his case with the administrative court of Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) on Thursday.

The court obliged the administration to provide him with a provisional authorization allowing him to access the security zones, reports Actu Seine-Saint-Denis.

Affected by a “white note”

This authorization had been withdrawn from him on October 14, 2021 due to suspicions of radicalization fueled by his proximity to another pilot practicing strict Islam.

The man was suspected of personally adhering to this vision, leading the intelligence services to produce a "white note" on him.

The court deemed this information “imprecise and unspecified”.

The man had also produced numerous testimonies from female and male captains, pilots and cabin crew of Air France.

All attested that his religious life in no way affected his professional qualities.

The State was ordered to pay 1,000 euros in reimbursement of the costs incurred.
