“You know that today President Zelensky made a statement about his readiness to discuss the neutral status of Ukraine,” Peskov said.

He added that this was one very important condition for resolving the crisis, which President Vladimir Putin spoke about and which was one of the goals of Russia's special operation in Ukraine.

In the context of Zelensky’s proposal, the Russian President agreed to instruct to organize such negotiations, the Ukrainian side was informed about this, the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.

In addition, Russia has formed a delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Foreign Ministry and the presidential administration.

“After a short pause, the Ukrainians said that they were reconsidering the idea with Minsk and that now they want to go to Warsaw, and after that they left the connection altogether, took a break,” Peskov said.

This pause has been going on for quite some time, he said.

“Unfortunately, this pause is accompanied by the fact that in large cities, nationalist elements are deploying multiple launch rocket systems in residential areas, including in Kiev,” he said.

Russia considers this situation extremely dangerous, he concluded.

As Vladimir Putin previously stated, according to reports, Bandera and neo-Nazis in Ukraine are deploying heavy weapons, including multiple launch rocket systems, right in the central areas of large cities, including Kiev and Kharkov, in order to cause return fire on these places.
