The UAE, the sisterly State of Kuwait, is participating today in its 61st National Day celebrations, in an embodiment of the nature of the brotherly relations between the two countries, which have reached the level of a well-established strategic partnership at various levels and in all fields.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated Kuwait's leadership and people on their glorious National Day.

His Highness said on Twitter: "We congratulate the leadership and people of Kuwait on their glorious national day.. May God protect Kuwait and preserve its people.. and perpetuate their honor and glory.

And every year, we and Kuwait are brothers, brothers and companions, one march towards a beautiful bright future, God willing.

The participation of the UAE in the celebrations of the National Day of Kuwait, which falls on February 25 of each year, reflects the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries, which united affiliation and a common history, and their partnership deepened in coordination and sincere dialogue.

The UAE annually witnesses a series of special events and performances, in celebration of the Kuwaiti National Day, including lighting a number of the most prominent urban landmarks in the colors of the flag of the sisterly State of Kuwait, placing slogans and congratulations banners in shopping centers in the emirates of the country, and organizing cultural and heritage celebrations.

The strategic partnership between the UAE and Kuwait continues its rapid growth in all political, economic, social and cultural fields, under the support and patronage of the leadership of the two brotherly countries, represented by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the sisterly State of Kuwait.
