It was at the beginning of November last year that two men carried out work on a suspension bridge in Gubbseleforsen in Vilhelmina.

Both men fell into the water.

The colleague managed to get up - but the other man disappeared in the rapids.

The police carried out several search operations, including divers, but the cold and currents in the rapids made the work more difficult.

Just over three weeks after the accident, the searches ended.

Now Missing People has started a search effort to help the process move forward.

- It is to try to help find the person who is feared to have drowned in the rapids, says Martin Persson, operations manager at Missing People in Västerbotten.

The effort will continue during the weekend, starting today.

Martin Persson hopes to find finds so that relatives can rest.

- We do this for them.

It is a tough effort considering that we will search in the rapids where a lot of safety thinking is required.

We will do our best.
