An act of bravery of which she can be proud.

Around 12:55 p.m., a 45-year-old woman jumped into the Loire by jumping from the Anne-de-Bretagne bridge in Nantes.

Having seen the scene, and listening only to his courage, a young woman, aged 25, immediately got into the water to help him.

Despite the current, she managed to reach the victim and bring him back to shore, reports the departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis).

A dozen firefighters were mobilized at the same time, but the two women were out of danger when they arrived.

They were taken to the CHU to check their state of health.
