It was the Swedish Work Environment Authority that, together with the Swedish Tax Agency, inspected construction sites in Funäsdalen, Vemdalen, Storhogna and Klövsjö for three days.

16 construction companies were visited and in several places continued work was prohibited.

There were risks of falling from high altitudes.

During the inspection, other shortcomings in the work environment were also found.

The shortcomings must be rectified and there may be a question of penalty fees.

The Swedish Tax Agency checked personnel files at 22 companies and at several workplaces there were people who were not registered in the personnel file for the work shift.

Deficiencies also in the autumn

The authorities also carried out inspections in the autumn and deficiencies were discovered.

"Unfortunately, the companies we now followed up once again had shortcomings in their work environment," says Maria Björklund, section manager at the Swedish Work Environment Authority in a press release.

- In addition, we can state that again this time there are several foreign employers who do not report their employees to the Swedish Work Environment Authority as posted.
