There are even articles like this, if Russia carries out an all-out war, as reported to you by Ahn Sang-woo, a reporter from the International Department a while ago, the Republic of Korea will also join the international community's all-out sanctions against Russia.

I will connect reporter Kwon Ran, who is covering the Blue House, and tell everyone about the current government's movements.

Reporter Kwon Ran, let me know.

Immediately after the announcement of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Blue House held an emergency situation check meeting with the NSC on the morning of the 24th.

At today's meeting, presided over by Director of the National Security Office, Suh Hoon, the safety of Korean residents and the impact on the Korean economy were intensively checked and countermeasures were discussed.

Immediately after today's meeting, the government put forward this position, saying that if Russia conducts an all-out war, it will have no choice but to participate in sanctions such as export controls to Russia.

Although there are conditions, it is the first time that the Korean government has expressed its intention to participate in sanctions in relation to the Ukraine crisis.

The government has maintained prudence, being conscious of the impact it will have on the peace process on the Korean Peninsula and Korea-Russia relations.

However, as the military clash becomes a reality, it seems that the stance has changed to join the ranks of pressure from the United States and others.

However, the government yesterday clearly drew a line saying that it would not consider military support or dispatch of troops.

In today's meeting, we focused on measures to ensure local safety, such as maintaining a 24-hour emergency system for the safety of our residents and businesses remaining in Ukraine.

Currently, 64 Koreans are staying in Ukraine, and an additional 36 are scheduled to withdraw after today.

The government also plans to continue closely discussing countermeasures with the United States and other relevant countries.
