The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, considered the peace agreements concluded between Arab countries and Israel a "very positive development."

Prince Faisal said - in an interview with the German news agency - "We had hoped, even before the signing of the Abraham Accords, that there would be a new momentum in the region towards peace and towards a better situation, but it remains always important not to forget that the main problem is the problem of the Palestinians."

The minister stressed the need to find a way now to bring the Palestinians and Israelis to the negotiating table, so that we can talk about the two-state solution and find a long-term peace.

"We believe that full normalization with Israel in the region is not only important or good for Israel, but also important and good for all of us, because this can benefit all our countries on the economic, social and security levels," he said.

On the other hand, Prince Faisal stressed that "without a solution to the Palestinian problem, everything will be fragile and easy to break immediately if any escalation occurs." He said, "The situation in the Palestinian territories is difficult, so the priority must now be to revive the peace process."
