According to Lukashenka, in order to stop the escalation, it is necessary to sit down at the negotiating table.

At the same time, he said that Moscow "will never sit down at the negotiating table" with Kiev, unless the issues to be discussed are agreed in advance.

The President of Belarus said that "Russia prescribed these issues for NATO, and for America, and for Ukraine as well."

“There are two or three questions for Ukraine.

The first is the demilitarization of Ukraine, preventing Ukraine from joining NATO and stopping military operations against Donetsk and Lugansk,” Lukashenka said.

The Belarusian president also said that the military leadership of Ukraine was warned about the possibility of a Russian special operation to protect Donbass.
