Vitaly Serukanov acted as a witness at the visiting session of the Lefortovsky District Court of Moscow in Pokrov on 21 February.

During the meeting, he testified in a fraud case involving Navalny.

According to the ex-lawyer, Navalny used his standard tactics worked out over the years with "long insulting tirades."

“Navalny himself was very nervous, and instead of asking questions, he tried to use his trademark technique - to take known information and emotionally hang on it his own invented fakes,” Serukanov noted.

He stressed that the party representing the interests of the defendant also behaved "inadequately."

“Lawyer Mikhailov raised his tone at me.

Yulia Navalnaya was located behind me, and when I voiced the key points in the case, she laughed loudly indicatively in order to confuse me.

Everything indicates that Navalny understands that the conclusion of the court will be indictment, and these are his last steps in public life for the next few years.

Therefore, we will see agony and a circus,” Serukanov said.

The ex-lawyer of the FBK specified that immediately after the court session, threats began to be received against him and his relatives.

On December 30, 2020, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Navalny under Part 4 of Art.

159 of the Criminal Code of Russia (large-scale fraud).
