Three Korean Americans who saved a woman from a robber with a knife and even helped arrest the robber were selected as 'brave citizens'.

They received the 'Brave Citizen Award' commendation at the regular meeting of the City Council of Buena Park, California, USA on the afternoon of the 22nd (local time).



The certificate of commendation was directly awarded by the Korean mayor, Sunny Park.



According to the Buena Park city website (www.buenapark.com) and the Korea Daily, these 'three Koreans' found an armed robber who took a woman's car key from a gas station in Buena Park on the 2nd and tried to rob the vehicle and immediately subdued it. It helped me get out of the crisis.
