Three men aged 18 and 20, from a city of Pontoise (Val-d'Oise), were sentenced to prison on Monday, February 21.
They were tried for violence with a weapon, in a meeting and with ambush.
On February 16, they attacked a man in his fifties whom they suspected of being a snitch because they had seen him chat with the police after an anti-narcotics operation, reports

Around 11 p.m., two young people knocked on the door of the 52-year-old man who refused to open it.
The latter had then seen them exploding the windshield of his van with the help of a third individual.
He then came down armed with a knife.
The 50-year-old will soon be judged too
The three youths hit him with a stick and he retaliated with his knife, injuring two of them.
He had finally fled in his van towards the hospital.
The defendant who had beaten the stick was sentenced to eighteen months in prison, six of which were suspended.
The other two were sentenced to 12 months in prison, 6 of which were suspended.
As for the 50-year-old, he will soon be tried for violence with a weapon.
