The police officers of the Brigade of research and intervention (BRI) of Creil (Oise) dismantled a vast network of drug trafficking.
They arrested four suspects and seized around 700 kg of cannabis on Monday, February 21, reports Actu.fr.
They were supplied in Spain
The investigation began with the surveillance of several heavy goods vehicles.
It made it possible to establish that the network recovered the drug in Spain to sell it in Ile-de-France, in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, in Hauts-de-France and even in northern Italy.
The traffickers would have made 24 to 48 trips a year to their supplier.
This Friday, February 18, a truck from Spain was followed to a warehouse located in the Oise by agents from the anti-narcotics office in Lyon.
This is where the four suspects were arrested as they began to unload the 700 kg of cannabis.
