At the meeting, it was pointed out that at present, secondary vocational education mainly has problems such as incompatibility of school-running orientation, large-scale but not strong school-running, and large gap in school-running conditions.
In response to these problems, this year, the Ministry of Education, together with relevant departments, will implement the “Project to Meet the Standards for Running Schools in Secondary Vocational Schools” to comprehensively check the basic school-running conditions of secondary vocational schools and achieve the basic compliance of school teaching conditions in 2023.
Concentrate on building a group of high-quality secondary vocational schools and branded majors with demonstration and leading roles, and demonstration drives the overall improvement of the quality of secondary vocational education.
Through these work, it will take 3 to 5 years to build about 1,000 national-level high-quality secondary vocational schools, demonstrate and drive the overall management of secondary vocational education, quality is qualified, and guide students and parents to make rational choices.
