Al-Sharif explained, in episodes broadcast by "Emirates Today" through its platforms on the websites, to shed light on the newly issued laws, that what is meant by the concept of national unity, is the union of a group of people, in religion, economy, society, history, in one place, and under the banner of government one.
He added that what is meant by social peace is the basic social base in ensuring the coexistence of members of one community, religiously, politically, economically, socially, educationally, culturally, and others in terms of measuring all criteria. The stability of social peace, development, progress, construction, preservation of property, the exchange of common benefits, and the solidarity of the members of society are achieved.
He added that the legislator decided in Article (24) of the Rumors Law, a penalty for anyone who works to harm national unity or social peace, or disturb public order, and the concept of order is a set of rules “the constitution and laws” and security means that provide general protection for citizens and all individuals. And society in general, who are present on the land of any state, the absence of which results in the collapse of society as a whole, and also the legislator decided to punish anyone who violates public morals, and it means a set of moral rules, which society considers a basis that it is not permissible to deviate from, and at the same time, it is imposed on it. He pointed out that the legislator specified that the penalty in this regard be imposed on anyone who establishes, manages, or supervises a website, or publishes information, programs or ideas through it that include incitement to sedition, hatred, racism or sectarianism, or promotes or recruits for any of them. Using the information network, or an information technology means, shall be punished by temporary imprisonment and a fine of no less than 200,000 dirhams, and not more than one million dirhams.
He stressed the importance of individuals taking care in their behavior on social networking sites, not offending others, and maintaining the form and organization of the social relationship between members of society.
