A 33-year-old man was arrested Monday at his Toulouse home for the telephone harassment of his ex-girlfriend.
The latter filed a complaint in mid-February and the investigation established that the 30-year-old had contacted her 580 times in the space of a month.
This, when he had been convicted of domestic violence and his sentence included a ban on contacting his victim.
Seen by a medical examiner, the complainant had her psychological damage assessed at two days of temporary interruption of work.
From a police source, the man did not deny the facts during his police custody.
He was referred on Tuesday and opted for a "guilty plea" procedure.
