A passenger gave the alert, explaining that she had seen at the Conflans-Fin d'Oise station (Yvelines) an individual claiming to have these weapons.

The witness indicated that the latter had taken the train in the direction of Mantes-la-Jolie.

The convoy was stopped at Chanteloup-les-Vignes.

The station was evacuated and surrounded by a security perimeter.

The suspect was arrested and explosives specialists secured the area.

They found no bombs or firearms on the 30-year-old.

Placed in police custody, he will have to answer for the facts of “threat of destruction of property” and “threat of crime and misdemeanor against persons”.
