Zakharova commented on Borrell's statement on sanctions against Russian officials

“Shopping and partying is what really excites me.

Such behavior of “civilized countries” borders on the loss of human appearance,” Zakharova wrote on Telegram. 

Earlier, a post appeared on Borrell's Twitter page that EU sanctions would deprive Russian State Duma deputies of parties in Saint-Tropez and shopping in Milan.

The tweet was later deleted.

Borrell noted that the EU will impose sanctions against 351 State Duma deputies and 27 individuals and legal entities after Russia's decision to recognize the independence of the LPR and DPR.
