The weather on Wednesday will be very cloudy over the North-West, but sunnier over the rest of the country, according to forecasts from Météo-France.

In the morning, the disturbance of the day before will still be perceptible from Poitou-Charentes to the Center-East, under heavy cloudiness with scattered rain and with a few flakes above 1,200 m on the Jura.

Mainly cloudy sky

Greyness and fog will dominate in the northwest of France, in the Grand Est, the Adour valley, the south of the Landes and all of the Midi-Pyrénées.

Elsewhere, the sky will remain cloudy overall, with the exception of Roussillon in Provence and on the Alpine arc.

In the afternoon, the sky will remain variable over a large northwest quarter, elsewhere, the clearings will increase with high cloud banks.

20 degrees near the Mediterranean

On the other hand, the sun will always prevail in the South-East.

The mistral will still blow in the early morning before quickly disappearing.

In the early morning, temperatures will be cooler between 1 and 5 degrees, with small frosts locally in the North-West, especially in the heart of Lower Normandy, in Picardy, in the Alpine valleys and in Provence.

In the Rhône Valley, the mercury will show 6 to 8 degrees.

The maximum will reach 9 to 13 degrees in the north and 13 to 17 degrees in the south, up to 16 to 20 degrees in the lower Rhone valley and near the Mediterranean.
