China News Service, February 22. According to the WeChat official account of the Chinese Embassy in Zambia, recently, some Chinese citizens failed to comply with the embassy's latest "About passengers who travel to China by flight must be tested for the new coronavirus when applying for a health code for returning to China." "Notice of Double Negative Certificate Boarding (Updated Release)" (see the official website of the Chinese Embassy in Zambia for details) requires nucleic acid testing, which will affect the review and issuance of health codes.

In order to avoid similar situations from happening again and causing inconvenience to your travel arrangements, we hereby remind you of the following matters:

  (1) Those who have completed the new crown vaccination and departed from Zambia and traveled to China via a third country must undergo "dual nucleic acid testing" in two designated laboratories within 48 hours before boarding (one of the laboratories must be CIDRZ );

  (2) The designated laboratories are: 1. Laboratory of Infectious Diseases Research Centre of Zambia (CIDRZ, Lusaka); 2. Laboratory of University Teaching Hospital (UTH, Lusaka); 3. Levi Mwanawa 4. Laboratory of Tropical Disease Research Center (TDRC, Ndola or Lusaka).

  Chinese citizens who intend to apply for a health code should strictly follow the requirements to test for the new crown and upload relevant materials, otherwise the embassy will not review and issue the health code according to regulations.
