The arrest of the "curcumin doctor" caused an uproar on social media, and a large number of tweeters expressed their great happiness at finally getting rid of the repeated "curcumin" advertisement.

Everyone disavows "curcumin"
Following the arrest of the “curcumin doctor,” several parties came out with fiery statements and statements. The Medical Syndicate announced that Ahmed Abu Al-Nasr was not a member of it, and welcomed his arrest, after he had provided medical advice and information for many years and promoted the sale of medical prescriptions, claiming that they were licensed by The Ministry of Health, contrary to the truth, causing harm to the health of citizens.
The captain of the Cairo Pharmacists Syndicate, Mohamed El-Sheikh, said - in televised statements - that the arrest of the "curcumin doctor" came late, and that he did not only offend pharmacists, but also offended the medical sector in Egypt, especially after his product caused the death of a number of patients, he said.
Even the popular artist Fatima Eid - the owner of the famous advertisement - said that she filmed the advertisement to compliment the "curcumin doctor", and did not charge any amount for filming it.
The spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Health, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, said that the ministry is on its way to eliminating the chaos of herbal medicine, stressing that after the establishment of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, it became the authority in licensing medicines, stressing also that licenses to practice the profession are an inherent right of the ministry.
