The man first spilled liquid suspected of gasoline, and then threatened the post office employees to hand over cash. In the end, he only got 91,000 yen (about 4,973 yuan) and escaped.

Fortunately, the liquid spilled by the man was not ignited and no one was injured.

  According to a report by Nagoya TV in Japan, the robbery happened at around 10:30 am local time on the 22nd. The Nagoya Motosakurada Post Office in Nagoya City’s southern district called the police and said that “gasoline was spilled”.

  The police said that after the knife-wielding man broke into the operating post office, he first splashed a liquid suspected of gasoline, and then threatened employees to hand over cash. In the end, he only got 91,000 yen in cash and ran away on a motorcycle.

At the time of the incident, two people and three staff members in the post office were not injured.

  The fire department said that immediately after receiving the alarm, 13 fire trucks were dispatched to stand by. Fortunately, the liquid was not ignited and did not cause a fire.

  The suspect, who is currently at large, is between the ages of 30 and 40 and is about 170 centimeters tall. He escaped on a motorcycle after the incident.

Police are hunting the fugitive suspect for robbery.
