The inhabitants of the Bellevue district, in Saint-Herblain, have again been entitled to an astonishing vision since this Tuesday.

Rue de Dijon, a stone's throw from the central Place Mendès-France, a real gondola, similar to the one usually found in the mountains, is suspended at the top of the facade of a building.

The red egg is held by heavy ropes above the void.

A pair of skis hangs on its side.

Obviously curious 550 km from the first snowy slopes.

Is this the work of a joker?

An advertising campaign for winter sports?

The answer is rather to be found in the street theater company Royal de Luxe.

For nearly three years, the troupe directed by Jean-Luc Courcoult has set itself the task, in agreement with the city of Nantes, of surprising the inhabitants of the large working-class district with its artistic interventions.

Royal de Luxe had already distinguished itself, among other things, with a Fiat 500, a steaming book or a camp set up in the same way on the facade of a building.

A recurring character, Monsieur Bourgogne, is the hero of most adventures.
