Fortunately, there were no injuries.
Sunday, a sexagenarian made use of a handgun in the middle of the street in Lormont, near Bordeaux in Gironde.
He was overwhelmed by the noise pollution linked to the anarchic parking of lotto participants in a room on avenue de la Gardette, reports Sud Ouest.
He had already complained several times about the noise in the past, according to the prosecution.
The shot did not hit anyone.
It would have been shot in the air according to its author.
The latter was arrested and taken into custody while an investigation for attempted homicide was opened.
The Bordeaux prosecutor's office will decide on the follow-up to this case on Tuesday.
