In love with the very young Charlotte de Montmorency, Henri IV thought that the Prince of Condé, known to prefer men, would be the perfect cover so that he could live his idyll out of sight.
But the monarch's plan turns against him, the Prince of Condé rebels!
Henri IV then threatens Condé to go to Brussels with a whole army to recover Charlotte de Montmorency, and even declares the prince “enemy of the king and the State”.
